Synergy Wind Turbine Information:
The Synergy wind turbine is differentiated from all other small wind turbines on the market by its technologically unique, patented ability to vary rotor area on a pivotal tilting axis according to wind speed. Synergy turbines operate in Class 4 winds (average 12.5 mph / 5.6 m/s) winds and have the ability to pivot and adjust in real time wind conditions and generate electricity even in higher wind regimes. The turbine incorporates a large rotor area for low winds, allowing for production of energy when conventional fixed axis wind turbines produce little or none. Similarly, as speeds increase, the turbine axis changes to reduce the rotor area which in turn allows for safe operation and continued power generation even in the occasional storm.
